Design transcends all fields.

I was putting what I thought was a wild color combination together at work for a display.  Colors of orange and pink.  Thinking about it intellectually, or 'left-brain' wise, I thought, oh, God this is going to be hideous.  But stepping back at the arrangement, I thought, 'hey, this is kind of cool.'  Or color-wheel speaking kind of hot.  Then, I looked in magazines to try to replicate this color scheme and came  up with the following cut flower arrangement.
This was my first attempt to do a backwash for a background.  And so, the lessons continue.  Stay tuned for my next water-color.

Its' a great way to pass the time on such a rainy day.

Cheers,
Laura
