Snow-blown

I'm one of those irritating people that was pleasantly surprised to wake on the tail end of March and discover 12 inches of fresh powder.  Come on, it was down-right beautiful.  If you wonder why I am so ga-ga over the bark of trees, take a gander at this crape myrtle below.  Its' bark shines through the dusting of last night's snow.
Look what a wee bit of color can do in the garden.  We're going to get this weather, so we might as well enjoy it.  I haven't drunk the kool-aid for those whom are wondering.  I am greatly anticipating the day that I can cut some roses and lady's mantle and make a summer bouquet.

Cheers to you,
Laura
