Unveiling Nature's Gifts

LOVE this time of year. It's as if nature is getting ready unveil nature's gifts of flowers and fragrance. Its' 'natures' pre-Christmas.:)

    These are some of the nature's gifts which I wait so impatiently to watch her unwrap.  There is the witch hazel with its' stalwart blooms defying the most brutal cold; the bright bulbs of aconites which just tickles me pink to view; the parrotia persica's flowers; the bright pinkish hue of the currants; and of course the chimonanthus so bright and cheery and so generously sharing the air with a rare perfume-like fragrance.

        Thank you nature for your gifts so brilliantly presented.  You make it worth the wait.
