Smedley of Containers

This container was inspired by those rare gardeners whom go to such extreme lengths to save a red banana through the winter.  Its' secondary leading actor is  the red dahlia accompanied by 'Centennial' variegated geranium and golden oxalis.

In search of drought-tolerant plants, and I came up with a lythrum, 'Kent Beauty' oregano, and sedum 'Angelina'.

This crazy coleus was my inspirations, played up with nicotiana, red salvia, and lotus vine.

Must be my sea yearnings in me, but I love the idea of escheverias mimicking a coral reef, tickled by white stones and green marbles.

I hope you get some inspiration to create some wild container concoctions yourself.

Cheers,

Laura
