Second Year of Design Work

In place of lawn, my client opted for her front yard with evergreens such as: carex 'Cappucino', Euphorbia 'Glacier', Ilex crenata 'Sky Pencil,' and the groundcover sedum 'Angelina.'

In this design, I used a color triad of: orange, blue and green.  For such a small area, less than 300 square feet, this makes the composition more harmonic without being boring.

Tip:

Now is a great time to move the furniture around.  The benefits of moving plants now, is they will undergo less shock then in the spring or summer months, and now you know where the plants are and where they need to be.

Cheers,

Laura
